Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 4, 2026

1. Introduction

At Linxells, we take your privacy and the protection of your data seriously. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, process, and protect the personal data of our customers (hotels) and their guests when using our services. We comply with major data protection frameworks, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

2. Information We Collect

We collect information strictly necessary to provide and improve our services:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and billing details for hotel administrators.
  • Guest Data: Temporary identifiers, access logs, and preferences strictly related to the hotel stay, provided either by the guest or the hotel CRM.
  • Usage Data: Device information, IP addresses, and interaction metrics with our web applications to ensure operational security and performance.

3. How We Use the Information

The data we collect is used exclusively to facilitate secure digital room access, enable our web-based concierge features, and provide customer support. We do not use your data or your guests' data to train public models, and we explicitly do not sell personal information to third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

We implement state-of-the-art security measures. All data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS and encrypted at rest within our secure database infrastructure. Access to sensitive operations, such as digital key issuance, is restricted by strict role-based access control (RBAC).

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable laws. Guest access data is routinely scrubbed according to the retention policies defined by the individual hotel clients using our platform.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, as well as the right to data portability and the right to object to certain processing activities. To exercise these rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer.
